The PEECH program (Preschool and  Early Education for Children in Hopewell), is the Hopewell Valley Regional School District’s integrated preschool program for 3- and 4-year-olds, and was created to provide a preschool setting where typically developing children and children with developmental differences can learn together.

Classes are held at all four elementary schools for all eligible HVRSD residents. The three-year-old classes are held in the morning and the four-year-old classes are held in the afternoon. Children must be toilet trained and be at least three years old by October 1, 2021. School-age children (turning five on or before October 1, 2021) are not eligible for the program as typically developing peers.

PEECH is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Applications must be received no later than Friday, February 19, 2021, to be considered for the lottery to be held on Friday, February 26. Any applications received after February 19 and all applications not selected in the lottery will be kept as a waiting list for future openings.

Applications can be found at the HVRSD website on the Pupil Services page. Contact Aida Valcarcel at aidavalcarcel@hvrsd.org or 609-737-4000 ext. 2603 for more information.
